About a month ago a friend asked me if I ever yell at my kids. If we -as a family- ever yell at each other. I feel really bad about my response because it probably made her feel bad. I thought for half a second and responded, "well, because my kids are older, they hardly do anything worth yelling about."
Some background, I'll refer you to: A previous post
So this morning I told Eva to change her pants because they were not dress code, the wrong color, with a huge obvious flower embroidery on the leg, SO not allowed.
"aw, come on, ....nobody will even notice, ....all I have left are skirts and I don't want my legs to be cold....."
"wear tights, I don't want to have to bring you new clothes when you get sent to the office, go change now...."
she went into the other room, came back with the same pants on still whining....
and I yelled, I don't think I yell a lot, not every day or anything.
But, I know that I'm a FLIGHT and there are FIGHT people, and that works for them. I don't think there is anything wrong with that.
