turn, turn, turn
A new RS presidency was called last Sunday. (which means I've been released) The other members of the presidency are blue, but I am just So relieved! The new presidency bore testimony of how much they love to be in RS and needed to be in there. I gotta say, I can't relate. I am still Much more comfortable in primary. (the lessons are just on my level) But honestly, Its a lot easier for me to LOVE and Serve children - especially those who have not reached the age of accountability- rather than adults. I am sad to miss those AWEsome leadership training meetings that are so full of the spirit and I learn so much. I'll also miss our weekly presidency meetings, knowing we're not likely to get together as often as friends. Bishopric is almost finished with the reorganization. I have not been released from my cubs calling although John has. I was his assistant for so long, now he's my unofficial assistant to the assistant till further notice. They started with YW, YM (where John was reassigned), EQ, HP, RS, all that seems to be left is Primary, Sunday School, and the Bishopric itself. I Love this kind of change. It's like the lord puts everyone's name in a hat and starts drawing for callings. Not to make light of the process, I know he's got perfect plans with intricate details regarding individual progression. Its exciting to watch and everyone gets a shake-up.
