cant leave it alone

Ok I ended that last post with a ridiculous not-the-same-thing argument.  I thought it was funny.

Reasons why I don't believe The Lord will EVER ordain women to the priesthood,

1- The Godhead consists of Men -1st article of faith
2- My house is a house of order - D&C 132:8
3- Thy desire shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee Genesis 3:16

That being said, IF women someday hold the priesthood, as long as that edict came from GOD, the Father and His Son,  I will have NO Problem.

Please Don't Ordain Women

"What I the Lord have spoken, I have spoken, and I excuse not myself: and though the heavens and the earth pass away, my word shall not pass away, but shall all be fulfilled, whether by mine own voice or by the voice of my servants, it is the same." -D&C 1:38

I don't want to criticize anyone in this ongoing issue. I will start off by saying that if the Lord revealed to, his mouth piece on the earth today, Thomas S. Monson that women of the Church were to receive the Priesthood tomorrow, I would have no problem accepting that. Remember this is the Lord Jesus Christ's Church and He is as the head. We ALL go through trials of faith and very personal struggles. And if we go to the Lord in prayer and in secret He will help us. Making a spectacle of a concern and bringing on media only gives ammunition that the media can twist and represent both sides inaccurately.

We are all equal in the amount of love the Savior has for us. He created us. Let him be your guiding strength in your trials of faith.

I stole the whole quote above from a comment "Lecaptain- provo utah" made on a des news article about Ordain Women and the above quote states Exactly how I feel- bold added and I changed a mis-spelled word.

I have said this to John several times:  This is how I see it, what if a group of faithful men decided to picket, fast, pray, and march because they really really really want to be pregnant and bear children.  Because it just is not fair and if God really loved them he would do this for them.

'nuff said.

Eva

I am disappointed that I have not been journaling our family here.  I could go back, but probably I will just move forward.

We took a trip to Sunny St. George last weekend.  We hoped to catch Emma's missionary farewell.  We got ahead of the weather on Friday and had an easy trip down there but on Saturday an epic snowstorm hit and we were trapped in our hotel for the day.  They canceled Sunday services because of the snow so we went to the Pasley's home in the morning and headed back home.  Not at all what we had planned but a good trip.  I love traveling with the family.  Our kids all brought books.  We shared one hotel room and did not get on each others nerves.  Isaac wanted to go swimming multiple times but we only went once.  Saturday evening during the snowstorm we were swimming in the indoor pool and hot tub and the outdoor pools were also open.  Grace, Isaac, and I ran in our bare feet through the snow to get to the outdoor hot tub.  The snow piled up on our head and shoulders while the hot tub was extra hot.   Interesting.  I'd do it again.  We did some shopping and took in a movie- Frozen.  It was cute.  Nice weekend getaway with my favorite people.
