cant keep him down

John is probably more frustrated with his splinted hand than he was about the actual accident. He sat here immobile on Sunday and by yesterday he had had it. He talked to the the surgeon. Surgery scheduled for tomorrow. And then he went to work. He couldnt stand doing nothing for another day. There was nothing I could say to stop him from fixing that rock wall when he got home. Later his parents and sisters family came over to work in the yard and further torture John. We had to stop him a couple times. And yes, his hand was throbbing from the extra exertion. So, surgery tomorrow and I guess a little crushed hand is not about to slow this guy down.
