Back to a schedule

First day of school was yesterday for all of us. Everyone was super excited. Labor day was the perfect day to finish up picking up school supplies and prepping the house for preschool. John had a list of projects he finished over the weekend. First day of preschool was smooth as pudding. I doubt I have ever been more prepared for any one lesson. The kids were angels (I dont expect them to start acting up for at least another week- when I finally know they are comfortable here). Same with the older kids I would suspect. Yesterday, when I dropped them off outside the school, Mary had a flash of terror cross her face unsure of what was going to happen to her. She was comforted to know that they would all gather together afterschool before being picked up. But still, she keeps telling me that if this doesent work out, I can just homeschool her. I love that she keeps it as an option. The weather is Fabulous. I love the chill in the air. It smells like halloween- To John, it smells like football. My absolute favorite time of year.
