So I have a reputation for being too picky with books. No, I will read just about anything. But actually liking a book? First I have to pick apart the mistakes, if there are not too many and they are not glaring, then I can focus on what I liked about it. Yesterday I read "The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas". And I liked it. There are some hideous errors. The premise was great, interesting. I won't tell you the historical setting but the Author tried to write from a 10 year old perspective. I wonder how much time the author has spent with children. His 10 year old had the intelligence, language, and petulance of a 6 year old (sometimes as young as three) I had to pretend to myself that we were dealing with a 6 year old and then I really enjoyed the book. Go ahead and read it. Its quick. Took about an hour and a half.
Otherwise, I have been reading 10 dog training books (found One that I liked) and 8 "how to play tennis" books. I found One that I love.

Crystal, you really should try: "Good owners, Great Dogs" by Brian Kilcommons and Sarah Wilson. Best book ever recommended to me on dog training. Deidra
