11 years old can be awkward. She's not quite old enough for anything and she's not a child anymore. Good thing she likes to wear high boots because her long legs make floods of every pair of pants. Capri's are not in season yet. She's learning how to tame her locks which requires her to sleep in braids to avoid a ratsnest. She likes Hank Smith cd's and Lego friends. She likes Dr. Who, Psych, reading, drawing, Minecraft, and hanging out just talking to friends. She is incredibly organized, fastidious. She is obedient, sober, and very concerned with right and wrong. Her teacher appreciates her excellent behavior and likes to use her example as a model to other students. She works hard for her straight A's. I love her work ethic! She feels deeply and is kind and fiercely loyal.
For her party, we recorded a cooking show. We personalized aprons and chef hats. We learned how to bake and decorate cake pops and piping frosting. The girls had a great time.
