I get to work from home. Someday

I applied for a Permanent home position at my work. I got the job two weeks ago. They told me they would have to hire someone to replace me in the office before I could go home. They have not started interviewing yet. I swear this company pushes my patience to its extreme! Everything will change for me when I get to work from home: my house will be cleaner, my fuel bill will disappear, I will be able to help at the kids schools, I will get to go to the gym in the mornings, I will not have to dress up everyday, my life will have a better balance and I will be happier. Someday. Sooner rather than later, please. I thought I was a patient person.
