I wish I'd've had time to plan our holiday. I forgot I wanted to see that new pioneer movie 17 miracles and Pioneer day would have been perfect timing. Ah well.
After 7 gruelling hours of work we did make it to an afternoon parade. Grace made this poster all by herself. She is very proud of it. Too bad my kids were surrounded by candy grubbing adults. Plenty of treats were thrown their way, but the grubbers intercepted most of it. RRGH. People don't always notice when they are being rude.
We found a lookout spot and watched the fireworks across the south valley. What do fireworks have to do with pioneers? Not much.
