I got a speeding ticket at 4AM on Black Friday. I was not paying attention to the speedometer so I have no idea what speed I was going but my "comfortable" speed is usually the same as the speed limit so i didn't "feel" like I was speeding. The officer wrote me a ticket for 5 over the limit and didnt tell my real speed. So, I called the courthouse today and PAId $90.00.
Im having a hard time with remorse or feeling like I actually did anything wrong.
Im inclined to believe that this "speed trap" is another form of taxation- which I'm not actually opposed to. Granted, I have my seconds of Fierce Anger that it had to be me, but I also believe that its only a matter of time and chance. Honestly, Im a pretty careful driver so I dont think it will come back around to me soon.
