I was a blogger

I used to be able to spout something off every couple of days. Now Im pushing for weekly. I havent had a spoutworthy thought for ?? Facebook is pretty cool though, no need to compose an essay.
Milestone in the Roach household: Our Barak recieved the priesthood two weeks ago. He also turned 12 years old the week before. He hasnt assumed deacon duties just yet. On Saturday night we asked him if he wanted to go to his cousin Jake's baby blessing instead of our own ward. John said, "We don't want you to miss the first time you pass the sacrament". Barak replied, "Well, if I pass the sacrament the next week, wont that be the first time? I mean, I really cant miss my first time can I?" Aaah, the wisdom of sarcasm.
I have noticed some changes in the last couple weeks. It's like his responsibility light switched on. I have found lately that he is no longer trying to "get out of" work, or "pretend" he dosent know how to BE. He's an impressive boy. Now that hes actually trying- watch out!
After his ordination, the bishop mentioned to me how uniquely intelligent Barak is. As many teachers, parents, friends, and leaders tell me the same thing. I doubt I will ever tire of hearing it.
