Blog Archiving: I blog for family keepsake. So I worry that this blog will somehow get lost in cyberspace or old blogs deleted. I know there are business out there who will print your blog for you in book form so that you can have a year at a time all nicely bound. But, I decided to do it myself. I have scrapbook studio to play with. I saved my content into a word document and then uploaded that document to my skydrive -which is where I save all my important documents (including my preschool files) Windows live offers free online storage space -plenty sufficient for my needs- called a skydrive. I trust it in case my desktop or laptops ever die.
Instead of blogging: I found an addictive game on miniclip that I have to discipline myself- and lots of times, I fail to try to keep it in check. With summer coming up I know I want to limit the kids electronic face-time and I have to be the example!
Trying to think of something to replace the TV/Computer/Wii: brainstorming prep for summer, possibly rock hounding, caves, swimming pool, parks, splash pads, library, I heartily welcome any other suggestions. Think cheap or free.

ckaroniWhen the kids were younger, I bought them a season pass to our local pool. They had a blast. My parent used to take us to different parks for a picnic--Sugarhouse, Liberty, Murray Park, it was even better if the park had a stream to play in. We would als go to downtown Salt Lake alot, just window shop and go to the free museums or the State Capitol bldg.
