Summertime Blues

Its been what? Two weeks of summer so far. I made lofty plans with a couple friends concerning keeping the kids busy, working on goals, getting them to do more housework. So we havent actually started any of that yet. I wont give up my high hopes till the last week of summer. It is better to have had a plan and failed than to never have planned at all. I made long overdue appointments for all the kids. Mary does not need glasses after all (I could have sworn) Sam probably does but the trouble of glasses does not outweigh the benefit he would get so we are holding off. Junior is healthy and on the small side. Sirius is immunized. Nicole's appointment is on Thursday.
