As I know him

The anniversary of John continues today. I cant keep straight my husbands birthday -and he loves it. He'll tell the story of the year I completely forgot. And leaves off his part in the confusion. So yesterday, we celebrated. And today, the tribute. I've only known him 13 years, practically a third of his life. Still I feel qualified to reveal what you knew, and didn't. Likes: oil paintings, opera, hard work, yard work, creation, carpentry, steaks, barbecue, shans cookies, fiction, family, crime shows, animals. Dislikes: ice cream, cheesecake, morning, breakfast,ignorance, poor planning, big government. The scales tip toward likes. He is such a glass half full. He has so many interests he often cant decide what to do with himself. Skills: all of them (according to the kids he can do, fix anything), I have to agree. Junior said, "dad is smart, he can launch a helicopter and make all the paper airplanes." John is an amazing husband and father. My favorite is his humor. He loves to laugh. He is constantly cracking jokes, telling stories, making people laugh- especially himself. John has a contagious full bodied laugh. Often his jokes are intended to invoke my rolled eyes. I love John and cant imagine a more perfect partner. Good thing you were born- whenver that was. Happy anniversary.
