Stake Conference was yesterday. I sent John early to save us a bench to increase our childrens chance for survival. See how much we love them. I drove over there, got there about 15 min early but already the parking lot was full. So I joined the line of minivans parked along the side of the road in the "roughage." APparently, I parked atop the only boulder in Herriman. How did I not know I was on top of a boulder? I must be thick. I guess I just figured roughage was supposed to be bumpy. So after the meeting I pulled away, headed home. About halfway home the steering started feeling strange. I wasn't sure if it was a tire issue but it felt okay to push it till home. It was the last turn into the driveway that I Knew I had lost power steering. I hopped out to see a stream of flourescent goo pouring onto the driveway. John instantenously changed into his work clothes and took the van apart. He found the pipe I had punctured and removed it. Now we get to purchase the part from the dealer (cha-ching) and hope and pray that that is the extent of the damage. Bumper and grille look terrible. Just as the new car smell fades away.
On the brighter side, I left a flourscent trail to lead us back to our new Stake Center.
